| Dr. Gan received the B.S. degree and the M.S. degree in control engineering from the Xi’an University of Technology, Xi’an, China, in 1993 and 1996, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree in control theory and control engineering from Northwestern Polytechnical University, Xi’an, in 1999. Since 2000, she has been with the School of Electrical Engineering, Xi’an Jiaotong University, Xi’an, where she is currently an Associate Professor. From February 2008 to February 2009, she was a Visiting Scholar of the Electrical & Computer Engineering,University of Toronto. She has published over 50 SCI /EI papers and 20 patents. She has been in charge of many national and provincial research projects.
