Zhengchun Du was born in Shaanxi, China, in 1963. He received the B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from Xi’an Jiaotong University, Xi’an, China, in 1983, 1986, and 1993, respectively. He is a senior member of IEEE and a member of the Power System Professional Committee of the Chinese Society of Electrical Engineering. He and his research team have published more than 100 papers in referred journals and conference proceedings. He is one of the authors of two textbooks: Modern Power Systems Analysis (Beijing, China: Science China Press, 2003) and Power Systems Analysis (Beijing, China: China Electric Power Press, 2004). He has chaired and completed two National Natural Science Foundation of China projects (Grant 50377031 and 50877060) and participated in two Natural Science Foundation of China projects (Grant 50595411 and U2066602). He has also participated in two projects of National Key Research and Development Program of China (Grant 2016YFB0900603 and 2017YFB0902000). |
