Alumni Licheng Jiao was elected as a foreign member of the Russian Academy of Natural Science.

Prof. Licheng Jiao

Licheng Jiao, an alumni of School of Electrical Engineering, received his M.E. and Ph.D degree from Xi’an Jiaotong University in 1984 and 1990, respectively. He is now a professor of Xi'an University of Electronic Science and Technology. He is also the Director of the Department of Computer Science and Technology and the Director of the Institute of Artificial Intelligence. Prof. Jiao is mainly engaged in the research of intelligent perception and computing, image understanding and target recognition, deep learning and brain-like computing.
