课程内容简介 Course Description:

课程目的:向工学学生介绍固态物理学的现代先进概念。工学学生将联系如何创建材料-系统实验并认识多种基于材料应用物理的解读方式。

本课程向学生教授固态物理先进概念的基础知识。了解基本概念及理论后,部分电介质、电气绝缘及电能相关的应用被解读。鉴于固态物理学涉面较广,本课程将选择性讲授几个主题,并侧重纳米科技及纳米电介质相关知识。

Course Aim: To introduce to engineers modern and advanced notions of solid-state physics. To train the engineers to better formulate their material-systems experiments and to introduce a vaster field of possible interpretations based on the material applied physics.

This course offers a simplified approach for the engineer relating to the more advanced notions of solid-state physics. After the introduction of many simplified notions and concepts of solid-state physics, a selection of applications related to dielectrics, electrical insulation and energy will be considered. In view of the broadness of solid-state physics, here only a selection of topics is explored yet with some emphasis on nanotechnology and nanodielectrics.
